Jay and Silent Bob's Next Movie
The Cast: Of course, Jay and Silent Bob, Brody, the blonde lesbian girl from Chasing Amy (although just for a second), and all the other people from the Brooklyn movies show up in this move. Along the way, Jay and Silent Bob run into all kinds of stuff, including the hot girl from American Pie. Also in this movie are brief showings from Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. The best casting decision was to include a real-life cast of Scooby Doo!
The Plot: Jay and Silent Bob find out that the techno-geeks out in cyberspace a talking trash about them, and go to Hollywood to stop a movie from being made about their alter-egos, Bluntman and Chronic. Along the way, many things conspire to stop them. The hot girls turn out to be jewel thieves, and try to get our heroes put in jail.
My Thoughts: This is a good, cool movie that doesn't require too much thinking. It is good to see all of the characters from all of these movies together at the same time, and Ben Afleck and Matt Damon do a good job of making fun of themselves.
Rating: I give this movie two thumbs up if you've seen all of the previous Jay and Silent Bob movies. Before you watch this movie, go rent all of their other ones first, and watch them in their natural progression. Start with Clerks, and laugh your butt off.
